DNS - Frequently Asked Questions
- What is DNS Hosting?
- What record types are supported?
- How can I upgrade to host more domains?
Q: What is DNS Hosting?
A: DNS Hosting is a service we provide to give you an
alternate, offsite, name server for your domain. All domains require a minimum
of two (2) name servers be specified, and it is generally recommended that name
servers be in separate geographic locations to ensure redundancy.
Q: What record types
are supported?
A: Currently our system only has support for A, CNAME,
MX, NS and SOA records. Additional records may be added in the future.
Q: How can I upgrade
to host more domains?
A: Contact our sales department at sales@achost.ca
or visit our support forum at http://forum.achost.ca/
to request an upgrade. Our staff will guide you through the procedure from there..
